I have a forward hatch for freedom 36/38 for sale.
Lens has crazing otherwise in good condition

Oh, I have one of these too! Last year I put in a new seal because I thought that’s why it was leaking, but it still leaked. I decided to buy a new one, and when this hatch was removed, it became clear that they didn’t use nearly enough sealant. I can provide pictures if anyone wants it.
I had Select Plastic replace the lens on my existing hatch.
I didn’t want to have something temporary for 3-4 weeks it takes them to do. I found it on eBay listed for a Catalina.
It also needs a new lens ( has crazing).
If I find a used main hatch for over the salon will do same.

I’d be interested in seeing pictures. I put in a new polycarbonate lens on the v-berth hatch but it is still leaking. Was thinking it might be the seal. Or maybe it’s the install? How difficult was it to remove the frame? I tried pulling it up once but it was down hard so stopped before I did some damage. I might have compromised the seal that maybe someone had stuck with 5200
