Well, not acutally a Freedom, but definately a Freedom rig. The owner converted to a free standing carbon mast and a Hoys-style club-footed jib. This boat is at Constitution Marina in Boston, a few boats away from
where Bright Star is currently docked. It is a very impressive
vessel, although it took quite a lot of work and consternation to get
her there. There’s also a log for her - http://barbara-ann.net/ -
which is a little out of date but does discuss the conversion from a
rotating wing mast (!!) to a round mast.
