Actively looking for an f40 or f44.. cat ketch. Covering the market, but prefer not too much of a project. Please let us know if that time has come. Location not a concern. Thanks…
I have a F35 in Brittany for sale
Many thanks for your message.. We are after something bigger really…best of luck👍
I have a 39 freedom cat catch in st. Thomas VI. Recently refinished all brightwork. Need to replace forward main sheet halyard. Is this safe with a bosuns chair ?
I would run a new halyard first before i went up in a chair with only 1 connection.
Hi Clean Hull,
Have you still got an F35 for sale?
Many thanks.

Hello, yes I have.
She is in Brittany
Hello. Andrew
Are you a private or business purchaser.
I am currently in hospital in Cardiff following a spinal operation.
My computer with all photos is aboard her.
I can of course provide you with lots of information

Michael
Go to use single Harvard and chair to install missing main Harvard. Is there any fall
Protection device available
Out there.
Hi Andrew
Further information regarding my F35 based in Brittany.
I bought her in Guernsey in November 2019.
The previous owner had pa ssed two years prior.
She needed lots of work much of which I have carried out.
Was living abourd until the Covid scam forced me to leave on the last ferry which wasn’t advertised until late the previous day.
15 months later I managed to get in and move to Jersey where in St Aubiins had a drying out berth 6/7 days a month.
I moved to Brittany to Lezardieux where I had a professional boat company totally renew the exhaust system and check out the engine which is in good condition.
On deck I have replaced most of the halyards and sheets.
Also a much larger new winch and 9 new upgraded 8/14 mm clutches.
Both mizzen and main selft tacking very nice single handed.
I fitted a MONITOR ( in my estimation the best)
self steering complete at the stern. Connections to the wheel to be finalised.
Still work to do.
Below I have modified the galley by removing the navigation chart table and seat that was inline giving space for a fridge freezer, microwave and generous working space.
New cooker and an interchangeable two ring gas hob.
Both can be operated together.
Saloon seating all newly replaced.
New heads, plumbing prepared for shower hot fed from a new gas heater.
More to follow….
Regards
Michael
Yes … a professional rigger
Hi Michael,
Thanks for the information. I like the Monitor s/steering too.
Do you have the boat with a broker, or any photos? Did you have a survey/ have anyone look at the hull condition?
I am presuming the masts are the original carbon fibre - what condition are they in?
Sorry for so many questions - I am away from next week until the beginning of April - I am trying to line up some potential boats to look at then. Yours is on the list if it is still available then, but I am trying to find one without too much work to do.
Sincerely,

Hi Andrew’
The masts are aluminium and in great condition.
I had a full survey when I Jersey on a drying mooring the reports is very good and is abourd Pasha.
The hull was antifouled following the survey and has no osmosis , I had planned on my next out of the water to clean off accumulated back to the hull.
Both mizzen and mainsail are fully battened with in boom 3 pout reefing.
Self tacking makes short handed sailing easy.
This model is often raced in the USA.
The hull construction is very strong as a peek under the sole boards show.
More to follow.
