Masthead Instruments on F33

I have an 82 F33 and a new set of B&G instruments. Does anyone know if
the wiring down the mainmast is in a conduit or just slapping around
free? Thanks

All the wires in mine are wrapped in foam and hanging free.

I have no slapping on either mast from the internal cables and halyards. The main mast has everything taped and some plastic spiral wrap. The mizzen only has the halyard and VHF cable and I don’t recall what’s in there but it seems to work.

Mine was in foam pipe insulation I replaced some wires and used cable ties
to keep from slapping . So far it works

All the wires in mine are wraped in foam and hang free also. My boat
was is F33 #58 built in '82.
