All

We are Freedom Owners,
We are Unique in that we have broadened out sailing horizons beyond the common
stay-ed rig boats. This would suggest that we are not lemmings, and have
different ideas and strong opinions. This is fertile ground (sea) from
which to build a rather unique group, in cyber-space, since we are spread all
over the world.

I see value in a
site that we OWN.

I could see a
list of owners (protected with passward, and agreements to not reveal) so
cruisers could contact fellow owners in new locations.
I could see a
common “in-box” where all traffic passes. One could be linked
to this and receive all the traffic, or not.
I could see categories
like hull, engine carbon masts etc with issues addressed in each category and an
area where issues have yet to be addressed.
I could see
categories like hull, engine, carbon masts etc. with issues d and a
separate area for questions yet to receive a response.
A collection of
photos of critical parts and reproductions of “owners manuals”
(with permission) as some of us have some of them.
We could invite
people like Gary Hoyt to participate.
We should also
have a relation with Freedom.
We could also have
a Rant & Rave section if so desired.

I believe that design
and engineering are “art of compromise” studies and so would be a group
of opinionated people which Freedom zealots seem to be.

If we’re going to invite Garry, we better all start spelling his name
right
