I am looking for the piece that connects the Jib boom to the forestay.
I remember buying the last one at Freedom Middletown location, but I know that is not possible anymore.
Any idea where to buy one?
Thanks,

Mike,
I presume going to David Bierig Sailmaker who invented the Camber Spar would get a replacement (1-814-459-8001). He still sells the whole assembly and perhaps parts. By your discription, I presume you are referring to the retainer piece or perhaps the front end sheave fitting?
While on the jib camber spar subject, I’m trying to rebuild the Camber Spar boom on our F32 after noting it was not turning properly in the sail pocket. Upon removal of the camber spar boom, I see two things that are not correct 1. the boom is bent too much and 2 the front end fitting with the nylon sheave was not turning ie frozen). After talking with Bierig, the distance from the cord length and the arch should be about 11" instead of 16" plus that existed. With some leverage, I’ve been able to get the arch dimension down to about 11 to 12".
However the frozen end fitting is more of a problem as the fit between the front end fitting and the Delrin liner has a very tight clearance and dispite using various corrsion solvents, and even adding a grease zerk, the tightness is still more than I would think is correct. It does rotate now but takes more torque to rotate than I think should exist.
Can anyone advise if this stiffness is normal or intented with the camber spar? So far,Ive been unable to remove the sheave fitting from the boom due to the tight fit of the Delrin liner to the stainless axle on the sheave fitting.
