I replaced my lifelines on my F32 last year with Amsteel single braid.
I also replaced the hardware out of necessity since I switched from
wire; however, I felt that replacing 20+ year-old hardware was due in
any event. After all some day it will be needed to keep my massive
carcass aboard.
