I am ready to purchase new sails and a Mack or Stack pack.
Would appreciate any advice.

If you don’t have one already, I’d suggest looking into a Strong Track from Tides Marine. It really makes raising that gigantic main sail much easier.

I am looking at new sails for me Freedom 40/40 #16. Was quoted $9,500 for both sails. Do you mind me asking what quotes you received? If you mind, simply ignore this posting

I had a new set made this past year by Thurston (Quantum) in Bristol RI for my F28. Am very happy with them and they know their way around Freedoms.

Precision sails Dacron 400 Series
Main $2100
Mizzen $1500

That was Black Friday prices.

Ulmer quoted me $4300 for the main. Stated the mizzen was just under $4000.

These are all single ply sails with 2 reefs and full batten.

Not sure if that helps.
