Hey guys…I just realized that we’ve been chatting on the wrong Freedom Group address …most members have shifted to freedomownersgroup@yahoogroups.com to avoid the spam , so I bet if this string will now get into the monitors of a lot more astute Freedom Loving (forgive the W line) owners. - Bill

Chris,I just found the post I was referring to. However, sadly it was from 2005. Keep scrolling down and Eric Spoonberg made the comment about its historic value. Go to; http://www.boatdesign.net/forums/showthread.php?t=10356Maybe you can email the person who made the post.Good Luck,

Chris,I know I recently read on this Group or maybe Boat Design Forum where someone had either just purchased or was in the process of buying this vessel. Another member commented that this is an historic boat and should somehow be preserved. If you didn’t find the info on either FreedomYachts2003, or, FreedomOwnersGroup try the following link;Boat Design Forums

Thank you Bill! That seems to be a special boat and an important first design historically. I hope the people who own her now are taking good care. Would love to find out. Thanks for checking!

Afraid not and there’s no records available that might lend some added info.Bill

The couple owning her used to have a website informing us about their sailing adventures, but I can’t find any references to the site anymore. I have a photo of Modesty somewhere.Michel— In freedomyachts2003@yahoogroups.com, “cmuseler” <cmuseler@…> wrote:>> Hello! Does anyone know the whereabouts of hull #1?
