I thought this was worth sharing. Nasa created the logo to commemorate USA’s Bicentennial in ‘76. Gary Hoyt loved it so much he poached it. This also prevented him from trademarking or copywriting Freedom’s logo as it belonged to the people of the United States.

I love the logo too! What is kinda funny and a little disappointing is one of the major garbage pickup companies, Republic Services, also uses the logo!
I am just overwhelmingly thankful that Gary Hoyt did not poach the exterior aesthetics of Jeff Bezo’s Amazon “Blue Origin” space toy for his Freedom line of yachts.
Luckily Blue Origin had not been conceived yet pardon the pun.
