I have been looking at a lot of Freedom pictures lately, and noticed the bilge configuration for the North American models (vs. British) have a small catch box with an electric pump mounted inside. It appears there is some type of plumbing leading into it from farther forward. You only get on shot of the bilge if any, and its hard to tell how its actually configured.
Couple of questions…
Is this box the “main” catch area for all water potentially entering the boat or just from some isolated source? (say from a head shower…)
Is there typically water that collects below that box in the area over the keel bolts?
If so, is there another electric/manual pump for that space as well?
Do people typically find they get a lot of water intrusion in their Freedoms? (I know every boat “leaks” differently based on how well the owner chases/fixes them)
Then one last question about keel bolts…
Are the bolts down a single line . . . . . . or : : : : : ? (My C&C goes down a single line)
Thanks so much in advance, still hoping to be a Freedom owner in the next 2 years… (US stock mkt will determine this…)

Yeah, me too.
BTW, when I purchased my Columbioa 31m it wasa based in Middle River at
Markley’s Marina, Essex. We lived in Annapolis for 15 years and I kept the boat
in Whitehall, then Holiday Hill Marina, Rhode River and occasionally Casa Rio in
Mayo. We moved here in 1994. My boat arived here before my wife did. Gotta
have priorities. :>))
It’s now in St. Pete, FL, and I’m heading for the boat to batten her down for
the coming hurricane/tropical storm. WIsh us luck.

The answers to some of your questions probably vary by model.
On my F-33:
The shower sump in the head has its own hose going to a pump aft
of the engine and overboard at the transom. It does not drain into the bilge.
From the bow all the way back are drainage holes and occasionally
a short pipe through a bulkhead to drain into the fairly deep bilge. There is a
pickup for the bilge pumpjust forward of the fuel tank and then a pickup up for
the manual pump under the engine.
My bilge is dry (I have a dripless prop shaft) unless I overfill
a water tank or take a lot of water in with the anchor chain.
The keel boats are staggered and not in a straight line.
