question on redoing floors

Posted by angiebera (angiebera@…>)

hey again,

we are in the process of redoing the floors on our freedom and have
noticed that there are dings and damage that shows up more once you
strip or sand tand then apply varnish. we are a little diappointed in
how some of the floor looks now and was wondering if any of you can
provide any feedback

thanks

Most Teak and Holly Soles are now plywood. It may be just as cost effective and will restore the beauty by renewing the entire sole. Most soles can be made from one sheet of the plywood.

Ang et All,

I have had some limited success in removing dings on wood by using a steam iron over a towell on top of the spot. The steam swells the wood back up. Before varnishing , of course ? !
