Hi,
After searching thru the message board, I did not find much mention
about a fully enclosed bimini/dodger solution for the Gary Mull F36.
I was wondering if anyone have installed a fully enclosed
bimini/dodger setup on their F36?
I just bought a F36 and it seems that the boom hangs a bit low to have
a fully closed bimini/dodger. I’d appreciate any advice on how that
can be accomplished and any references. Or if you can, please post
photos of your enclosed bimini/dodger setup. My F36 is in Marina Del
Rey, California.
Thanks,
-Nhat

Nhat, Consider having a sailmaker change the tack angle so that the
boom takes a very slight angle up as it leads aft. This will not
seriously nor adversely affect performance the higher angle will
give you more clearance of the aft end of the boom from the cockpit
floor. I have sold Freedom 36/38’s with full enclosures so I know
it’s possible. Good luck,
