Thanks for all of your input it was very help full. The race is
scheduled for the middle of September, I’ll let everyone know how it
went. I think the hardest part of racing might actually be just
getting to the start line. It makes it much more challenging when your
boat is a hundred miles away and the Army can’t figure out its
deployment schedule, if I’m still in the US next week I might have a
chance.

I want to wish you good luck. Racing can be fun and interesting. The start can be very exciting but also hairy if all the boats are bunched together and everyone is trying to get the best postion.
