Does anyone know of maker or design for radar mount we could use on
our Freedom 39?
Have heard of Oregon source but unable to track it down. Any
suggestions for mast mounts welcome. We really do not like idea of
separate pole mount. Sally and Dave, s/v Hopalong

My 1985 39 Express “WINK” has a Raytheon radar mounted to the mizzen
mast. It was on the boat when I purchased it eleven years ago and I
always thought it has a Raytheon accessory. I’d try speaking with them
at their main office in New Hampshere.

Hey David and Sally,
You two still down in Mexico? This is the same Dave that used to own
Entropy, your sistership.
I had a nice radar mount on my boat. It was foam cored fiberglass
that in turn was glassed to the mast. Gotta keep the weight aloft to
a minimum.
You want me to come down and try to duplicate it? I hear it’s nice
down there this time of year.
