RE: [FreedomOwner For Al

Hello Al,

I have left Annapolis. I’m sorry we didn’t get together. I had the boat hauled for a week in September but it was out of the water for 6 weeks!! She had blisters and I had other things done too.

There is always next year. I loved Annapolis and want to go back. I’m in Beaufort, NC now and am heading to Florida and hopefully the Bahama’s for the winter-time will tell. On the trip yesterday in the Pamlico Sound, we had a few snow showers-UGH!! We keep trying to get south enough to get warm, but this front means about another 1000 miles for that. I talked with a friend in Jacksonville, FL and he said it was 29 degrees there too!

Hopefully I’ll see you in the Spring

Alas, Mark, the name alone isn¢t worth much. Pacific Seacraft was bought for $80K in bankruptcy, and that included the name, all the molds and tooling, supplies, and three partially completed hulls.

I believe if you are interested in acquiring a couple of Legacy power boat molds the Legacy 32 and the Legacy 42 molds might still be available. These are both excellent designs and worth saving. Also, this might be an opportune time for someone to buy the Freedom Yachts name. Any takers? Sward:

I
certainly hope to be here in the spring, so do call when you get back. I still
want to take you up on your offer of a sail.

Do
you have a Bahamian courtesy flag? They’re very picky about that. If
not, let me know, I have 2 and I’ll send you one.

Al

Thanks Al for the offer of the Bahamanian Courtesy Flag. I do have one and the quarantine flag as well. I’m trying to get a customs sticker. They have changed the procedure and I can’t figure it out. I think I will call and try to do it over the phone instead.
