Re: lazerette

Hi Group,

Have any of you added shelves or compartments in the lazerette(sp)?

I find it deep, and need to climb in to get things.

Maybe plastic keepers on end to pull up?

Any ideas?

I know a bike could go there.

The PO of my boat put a 25 gal
flexible water bladder in the bottom of the lazerette with an old cabin table
on in, tied in to the 2 walls and suspended by the propane locker. On it I have
the spare anchor and rode and fenders. There’s room behind it for other
gear. I don’t have to dive into the depths to get stuff. I have
glued line holders to the cockpit facing wall as well.

Lola;

the previous owner had a shelf installed for about 80% of the length
of the lazerette. On it is the compressor for the fridge as well as
storage for docking lines, dinghy pump . . .

Could provide pictures if useful

On another topic, can anyone tell me the size of the fuel line
leading from the tank to the filter on my F38? I assume it is a
rubber line. Need to buy a fitting but don’t want to drive the 1
1/2 hours to the boat.

Thank you
