Max, Common problem. I used an electrical “snake” on mine. The thin plastic inside lining (from when the mast mas formed) came loose on mine. Try a shop vac with a couple of 10’ lengths of 1 1/2" PCV pipe and duct tape as a big “extension”. Should be cheap enough. Although your enthusiasm is appreciated, most of this work, seems to me, is best done before I step the mast and just go sailing. Since I will be living aboard the boat for days at a time while tied to a bouy, having a mast light seems like a good idea. Based on how few sailboats I actually see leave thier slips in the marinas, that’s more time than most sailboat owners spend on their boats in a season.
