There is a test button on the recept. beside the reset button. If you
push that the reset button should pop out. It may be that it isn’t
tripped so you can’t push it in. The test button should tell you
that. Also check your breaker. Hopefully they labeled everything
well so you know which breaker goes where. If not, you can play with
those and label them yourself…

I am starting at the bottom of this email
thread…did you state that the pump is running? On my boat the
shower pump is on a separate breaker and must be on to work unlike the primary
bilge pump where it is directly wired to the battery. It seem the way the
bilge is designed the primary actually is started first since the shower pump
sits a little higher then the primary. On my boat the bilge although
looks like separate compartment is actually one long bilge with primary in the
middle and the shower way forward. Just want to verify that the pump is
running. My shower also drains very slowly even after blowing water and
air through it. However it does drain and the pump starts once a certain
level of water is achieved. If the pump is running then I would first look
to see if the pump hose attached properly, two the water level is at least a ½
inch, check the pump intake (the slots around the pump base) is clear, and then
finally is the pump impeller or diaphragm, depending on pump type, is working
(some pumps especially older one will burn out if its not moving water).

Lola,
GFIs will not reset unless there is power to that receptacle. I’d
look at the A/C circuit breakers that are supposed to feed this
receptacle. If you don’t find one tripped then you need to expose the
power wires by removing the front plate, and using a meter to see if
there is power to the GFI. If there is power, then the GFI itself is
kaput (they are cheap to replace (~ $8-9). Make sure you’ve removed
power from this circuit before finger-poking during replacement. Herm
