RE: Spinnaker Questions

Posted by kholden@…> (kholden@…>)

Apparently my rather lengthy post last
night didn’t get thru. I am reluctantly selling my F-30 sloop, but need
to replace the gun-mount sleeve. Attempts to buy one have failed, but I was
hoping someone might be able to give me measurements and/or photos to help me
build one. My questions are the overall length of the sleeve itself. (I’ve
heard 12 inches but my recollection was that it was longer than that.) I also
am unsure of the length of the mounting bolt and the bolts diameter. I have two
options for materials, either heavy duty aluminum or stainless steel. Any
recommendations?
Also someone posted awhile back about the
plastic liner. I haven’t been able to find that post, and would
appreciate the material info again.

Lastly I want to thank everyone on this
board. You are amazingly well informed and of great help to all of us. I shall
miss you.

Hello all,
Reading Reuel Parker has peaked my interest in cat

consider the Freedom 28 a suitable design for
extended offshore

find a picture or
lines drawing of the hull below the waterline for
any of the
Freedoms.
Any feedback would be appreciated.

I still have a gun mount, pole and spinnaker for sale from my F32. Good condition, but I want the pole and mount to go as a set, unless interested parties want to get together and divide it up. I have pics and will again try to post them.
