Hi,
According to my Home Window Contractor and Installer, any good
Plexiglass store can cut and form a replacement for the existing
unit. I was also told that white toothpaste used on a buffer will
make the windows shine like new. As an after treatment, Pledge, is
supposed to make them sparkle.
The place to purchase the butyl tape is an RV repair center. This
tape is used routinely on RVs for the same purpose as we are
considering. I plan to buy some tomorrow and install it within a few
days. I will share my experience here.
