I have recently purchased an '87 F30 #44 in Annapolis where she will
be on Mill Creek 'til mid October. I am new to this boat but not new to
sailing. I’ve actually done what seems to be the unthinkable…I’ve
down-sized from a 35 footer. I am eager to learn as much as I can about
the design and sailing characteristics as I can.
Where maight I obtain a copy of the owners manual? I have the owners
manual and service manual for the motor but nothing for the boat
itself.Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks,
Dan

Dear Dan: I have an owners manual and should be able to get you a copy. We have a Freedom 30 #12 and just sailed past you on our way from Palm Beach to Milford, CT. Lots to learn about the boat…but too much to write. Would be glad to review by phone. -Al,
Thanks for the response. Fargo has generously offered to send a
copy to me. Thanks for the offer though.
I understand that you sail in the Annapolis area, where do you
keep your boat? We will be on Mill Creek until mid October. It would
be great to see another F30, especially one that hasn’t been
neglected.

Dan:
My boat is at Holiday Point Marina on the South River, one river south of Annapolis. I’d be happy to show you Ab Initio and even take you for a sail. You can contact me directly at f30abinitio at yahoo.com.
