Hi
I am contemplating the removal of the centerboard to check the
condition of the pivot pin. Does anyone have experience of doing this

I had an F33/35 centerboard catketch. The pivot pin was 4" thick
stainless steel and covered by the hull laminate on both sides. If I
were you, I’d leave the pin alone when it’s working okay. If it ain’t
broke, don’t fix it, they say in America, I believe… no,
seriously, you are heading for a lot of work and perhaps trouble if
you try to take out the centerboard without bitter necessity.
