We are in the process of buying a F35 that has a cracked Portside Fixed skylight. Does anyone have any advice on finding a replacement? Is it a glass shop custom laminated glass replacement job? Is a Polycarbonate replacement suitable? Any advice appreciated!
Dwight Escalara may chime in. He sourced that glass for freedom when he worked at the factory. He later surveyed my boat, which had the same issue. He told me to ignore it—that it was double pane and actually some form of bulletproof type glass and it would cause more problems trying to replace it. Never leaked in my eight years of ownership.
