Hi all,
Does anyone know where i could source this support for the f35 rudder?
Unfortunately it seems to have gone missing before my ownership.
Thanks Dave

Hi Dave
The first photo is confusing, as it doesn’t match the second one, which appears to be a photo of your rudder.
I have this part, in bronze, which equipped my F33. I could sell it for a very nice price! And shipping from France to the UK isn’t very expensive.
But it might not fit your rudder.
Thanks Lorenzo.
Do you have the hard plastic spacers to go with it?
How much do you want for it?
Really appreciate it.
Cheers Dave
Tomorrow, Sunday, I’m going to take a close look at the rudder I left at the nautical base where I renovated my F33.
I don’t know if there’s a plastic ring.
I’m going to take some measurements and photos. My F33 was made in the USA, I suppose your F35 in England. The rudders are not the same and it could well be that their mounting system is different too.
Another possible pitfall: I hope the bronze part can be disassembled.
For a package weighing between 3 and 5 kilos, shipping costs will be around 30 euros. There should be some customs charges (breixit!). The price of the part would be 20 euros.
But let’s wait to find out more about the size of the bronze support.
That’s fantastic, thanks again.
After 25 years on the hard you’ve helped get one step closer to her sailing again.
Have a good weekend.
Merci beaucoup
David
Hello
Some late news!
Here are the dimensions of the mounting hole spacing.
It’s in millimeters
I’m having a big problem. You absolutely need a socket wrench to unscrew the nuts. I have open-end wrenches in inch dimensions, but they can’t get into the nut.
And it’s pretty hard to find an inch socket wrench in France.
Hi Lorenzo,
Ah, thanks so much for trying. Nothing is ever straightforward. I’ll take some measurements and get back to you but don’t worry to much about it as i have many months of work ahead of me before i would actually need these parts.
Have a great week and ill let you know once ive took some measurements on my boat.
Best regards
Dave
