Rwemoval of depth transducer

I must remove the thru-hull transduce(Standard Horizon),not to be saved. Is there a trick in unscrewing the collar? It ihas 6 or 8 radial vanes,and I wonder what tool would be most effective.As it is to be discarded,I’m not worried about mauling it up. Replacement is Ray ST60+

Howdy,

The wrench of last resort would be a pipe wrench, if there is no room,
I have cut the collars with a fiber cutting wheel on a Dremel … make
3 slices down, the collar is in 3 parts…just be careful not to cut
the hull, eh???
