I was in Eureka, CA and stopped by Woodley Island Marina. There was an
F-25 that looked like it hasn’t moved in 10-15 years. One of the
deadlights was popped open a bit on one side so rain in some quantity
had definitely gotten in. I could see water in the bilge up to the
level of the floorboards. I heard conflicting stories about the boat.
One guy said he had heard the boat had been for sale for many years at
an unrealistic price and the other story was that someone had recently
bought it. In any case I just thought I’d post the story in case we
have any Freedom enthusiasts on the North Coast that want to follow
up. It might be just good for parts. Hard to tell from the dock but I
wouldn’t be surprised if there is a fair amount of rot inside and core
problems.

The mast would be worth more than the boat ! Andre.Dave_Benjamin <dave_benjamin@…> wrote: I was in Eureka, CA and stopped by Woodley Island Marina. It’s a rotating wing mast. I’m thinking it would be a good parts boat.
The mast, boom, stanchions, pulpit, gun mount spin pole, and outboard
have some salvage value.
