After much pondering, we seem to be moving towards a Freedom 39 PH or deck salon as the cat ketch/ schooner we are most interested in for our next boat. While I sailed a Freedom 44 many years ago, have been in love with that design forever. and almost bought one a few years back, I’ve never actually been on the F39. I am however attracted to the idea of a light cabin/ salon that you can see out of. When I think about our actual use here in the PNW that seems pretty ideal. Comments and words of wisdom, particularly from owners, are welcome.
If anyone is contemplating selling or knows someone who is, pass me a message. I’m in the Seattle area, so West Coast is a big plus.
There was one listed in So Cal recently, but when I was eventually able to connect with the broker, I was told the owner went “up north”.
