Sunday, we took the cover off Bright Star, took the frame down, and
decided it was too nice to not at least go take a couple hour tour of
the harbor. Even though the sun was out, you could see your breath,
especially heading up wind. Downwind, it was very pleasant.
We toured the waterfront by the New England Aquarium, Rowe’s Wharf
where the Nantucket Lightship currently is, and over by Legal Seafood
and the shipping terminal. We weren’t quite motivated to raise the
sails, but soon - maybe this weekend. It felt good to have natural
light below and the hull smoothly swaying beneath our feet.
