I’ve owned, used and raced with the small and the large F21 staysail.
The smaller one is not of much use, because you would use it only in
very strong wind, and would be just as well off with no staysail. For
me, it was a waste of money. The large one is great from 0-12 knots of
wind. I used a small Harken staysail furler for my jibs, and strongly
recommend doing that. I could furl in the large staysail a few turns,
and still use it in 12-17 knots. Once you use the furler, you’ll wonder
how you ever did without it. Happy sailing. Charlie
