stuffing box drip rate

I replaced the flax with ptfe (teflon) stuffing. The directions on the product
claim that it’s
‘dripless’. I’m skeptical. I still think there should be a drip; perhaps one per
minute? What
think you, me lads?

I would go by temperature. If it is too hot to hold at max shaft RPMs, then more drips. If it runs warm and no or little drip, life if good.
