Thanks Bob, and those who replied,
Sailcraft,the boat yard in Oriental, NC,after reading all your replies
had a part made nearby, and are redesigning the Stuffing Box, This
all has been a needy boat…I actually feel I have a New 1987 F30…I
am able to justify the cost, telling myself we re roof houses, buy
tires for cars,and many other things ,and pay Doctors for repair of
our bodies…why should a boat be different.? So , I have made Lemonade.
Cosmetically the boat is a gem…now her inner works are up to date.
My spare room is full of pictures,dinnerware, books, bedding, all
waiting for her delivery…I’m excited…just retired as an art
teacher on Jan 1…the boat will be my Condo Studio at the Myrtle
Beach ,SC Yacht Club…I intend to paint paintings of peoples’
boats…Need a painting of your boat? Send a photo, and size…if you
don’t like it…I will just sell it on E bay.
