It would be a good idea if the group could have a section listing
Freedom Boats For Sale

Also a section listing sails, gear, parts, etc. for sale.

Steve,
It’s a good idea but its not clear
that yahoo groups makes this easy.
We can create a place in the database
section for a list and some limited information but no pictures.
In photos section there can be folders and
photos but no details/contact info. Files section presents similar issues.
Even if we did this most people don’t
know where to go and just look at the messages.
If anyone has a good idea let us know.

I was thinking of the Columbia list web site, which features those things. But
that is a sepaprate page which was crreated and maintained by one of the
original founders of the group. It’s not on Yahoo. You can visit it at:

http://www.columbia-yachts.com/

It has a wealth of informatiion, with specs for each of the models, brocuhures,
sailplans, boats and gear for sale and an owners’ list with contact information.
Setting up and maintaining somethjing like this is a lot of work. The site was
started by Eric White, who no longer owns a Columbia, but is stil somewhat
active on the list.
