Swing Keel on F28

Besides my rough sketch of asking a question, which I never got a good answer to, is there any other drawing of the trunk and swing keel?

And To answer my own question after unbolting the liner boards: Yes they extend all the way to the bottom of the trunk and they they are the primary structural support for the 4 inch ring pin, that can’t be cut.

My question is for an '82 f28 are there any guide pins? I’ve been trying to loosen the keel and drop it out but it is stuck up in the back and nothing I do seems to budge it. The front of it has dropped down 6" and the whole pin is out along with the “boards” that inlaid in the trunk.

Trunk and centerboard are foil shaped. By dropping the front first, I suspect, you wedged the centerboard into the trunk. I think, you need to lift the front back in place and get the front edge of the board perpendicular to the hull and then drop the board out of the trunk.
In my boat there is nothing, other than the front “liner boards”, to support the centerboard. I don’t see any other pins, bolts or structural elements.

Just another thought. How the core in the trunk looks like? The sides under panels are not painted, so you can see through the fiberglass. Is there any big black spots?
I just trying to figure out what can hold the board on sides. If fiberglass is swollen, it could.

Your both right. The front is dropped down and there are water blisters. I noticed them when I did a very careful scrapping of the keel prior to trying to use the low tide to push the keel up. I cut the safety line prior to that as well figuring the keel should want to hang lower in order to drop out, but no dice. I keep hoping gravity will do its job and just pull a little harder.
