Through hulls on freedom 32

I’ve noticed that the through hull fittings in the co ckpit locker have no blots on them. They are just bonded on as shown in the above pic. On the outside of the hull the plate is recessed into the glass. How are they fitted on your f32? Is this how freedom yachts installed them? Surely they can’t rely on the bond alone.

I think they must have in internal thread, where the outer and inner parts compress together.

I’m not sure what the purpose of the hose clamp at the base of the smaller valve serves. It’ll have to wait until the boat is out of the water before I can pull it apart.

Interesting. We have a Freedom 30 and a Freedom 38 and all thru-hulls are Marelon. So not sure if these on your boat are replacements of the standard Marelon “factory” installation. Or maybe your boat is older and came with brass thru-hulls? I am learning here too!

I also have a Hoyt F32. These are standard equipment on mine as well

Thanks for the response.
