A friend of a friend has a 40’ trawler does 6 knots and does not take the rough waters well! Also cost him !$700 to fill the diesel tank. Of course you could get the more expensive model but I have not seen anything under 50’ take the rough seas any better but they are faster if thats what you really want. It’s also handy for holding onto… and for mounting things that need some elevation like a TV antenna. Roger L.
