Does anyone know the torque setting of the torque settings for the keel bolts
Paul Dennis told me not to mess with them, and in such things I trust Paul Dennis.
Thank you they seem ok but reàd an article about checking torque
Hi,
Agree that fiddling with keel bolts might create more problems than it solves. Suppose a Surveyor might offer some peace of mind. But here is some more background on the topic.

Thanks for that
Visually they look sound and so does the keel
Page 3.4-1 of my 1985 F32 manual, in the Annual Safety Maintenance Checklist, has a check box that says “Check keel bolt nuts for tightness* (on cradle to 90 ft lbs).” The asterisk says “Do not arbitrarily tighten keel bolts. Adjustment may break bedding compound bond and cause leakage.”
Think ill wait until next haul out
