Retiring soon and looking to buy a Freedom. I’ve sailed most of my
life and I’m sold on
the F38. My better half, however, is less experienced and reluctant
to make that kind of
commitment… for now. As a compromise we’re looking at the F24 but
have no idea about
specs, how the boat sails, what a reasonable price for one should be.
A trailerable boat is
an interesting idea. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Happy
sailing.

There is one currently for sale on Yachtworld.

Very few of these boats were built because there was very little
market for a trailerable 24 footer that cost 60 or 70 grand. Resale
may be difficult since so few were made. Seems like a great boat
though. If I could buy one for around 20K or less I’d love to have
it for Puget Sound.

Dave:
Thanks. I saw the one on yachtworld and agree if you could get one for about
$20 it would be perfect to sail here on Puget Sound. I doubt, however, he’d
come off $10,000. If he does, I’ll let you know and we’ll go sailing.
Cheers,
Keith
