Just wanted to show off my handiwork from this weekend on our Freedom 45. The one thing I disliked about this boat when we purchased her about a year ago was the color of the countertops. Thinking i could live with it I soon realized I could not. It wasn’t just the color but the stains and such that drove me crazy. So I started to change that this weekend. I forgot to take a before pic of the head but if you have one you know. Next time I would take out the sink just to make my life easter

Good job! From your post, did you work around the sink?
That looks great! Did you glue on laminate or iron it on?
Its actually high end contact paper from a company called James and Colors https://www.jamesandcolors.com I used it on my Catalina 30 a few years back and it’s held up great. I’m in the south and the summers are hot and there have been no issues with it. Like I said if I had to do it over again I’d remove the sink just to make life easier, cutting around that was not fun, plus residual caulk caused it not to stick so I had to sand down the surface to get it to adhere.
