What do you do if you love the design of your Freedom 38, but you wish that it had come with a walk-through transom? Answer: fire up the sawzall!
Anyone else on here done this to their Freedom?

Interesting. Will you put in access for emergency tiller?
Interesting work, Josh. Who did the work? Paul?
Yes, plus a slot for drop board and a hinged helm seat.
Jorge Borges at International Marine Composites in Bristol. He’s a true artist.
Hello, I recently purchased an F38, and am very interested in doing one of these modifications. Do you have any finished pictures? It looks like this was done several years ago, are you happy with the results after 5+ years?
So this was my old F38, which I sold to Jorge after I bought my current F38 in 2018. I saw that he did the modification when I was at his shop and I took these pictures. I do not know if he ever finished it. If he did, I know the boat has not been launched because the mast is still sitting at Paul Dennis‘s shop. If you wanna call Jorge and ask him about it, his shop is in Bristol, Rhode Island.
