Washdown pump

I have to replace my washdown pump. I thinK It was not winterized properly since I just used it for the first time this season yesterday and it just spits air. I’ve been using a Pentair Sureflo Pro Blaster II 12 v, 5.0 gpm 60 psi 14 amp max which I installed about 12 years ago. I’ve been happy with it, but would not mind a little more power.

When I research the internet, I find some nice Jabsco models but they require more amps and I do not want to change my circuit breaker. I currently have a 10 amp breaker and the Shureflo has worked fine even though it’s rated at 14 A.

Any suggestions?

Id stick with the same pump and try different nozzles.
