When water pump switch is turned on it makes a noise constantly.
Anyone know a reason for this? It didn’t do it last season.

You are probably air locked. Open all the faucets, and take off the strainers.
Make sure that you have water getting to the pump as well.

(Sorry, but I gotta ask: you’re sure the tank is not empty, right?
No water and a constant running pump is the definitive sign that you
just ran the tank dry.)
If you open the faucet, does water come out?
If no or if it is just running very slowly or weakly, then you have
lost the prime in the system. I have to open the galley sink valves,
both hot and cold, and pump on the manual galley sink pump for a
while to get my pressure water system to re-prime. Let the water run
and keep pumping for a minute or two. It will be obvious from the
flow rate and the sound of the pump when the system re-primes itself.
If yes and it is pretty much the same flow rate and pressure as
normal than the pressure sensing switch on the pressure pump has gone
bad. An easy and straightforward fix: order the part, pull off two
electric connections, un-screw the old one, screw in the new one,
hook up the push-on connections.
